- To analyze the perspectives of the school cluster’s educational community (school headteacher, department coordinators, teachers, students, and parents) regarding national curricular guidelines and local school practices, and how these evolve over the project’s duration toward a context-based curriculum approach.
- To conceive, implement and evaluate, through collaborative, participatory action-research projects, a context-based school curriculum (which contextualizes macro curricular policies into school-based policy towards the development of students’ thinking and acting toward a more sustainable world), aiming at curriculum innovation and quality of education.
- To identify measures and factors that facilitate and/or constrain curricular innovation, a sense of authorship and agency by teachers and students, and the quality of education in the scope of a glocal curriculum approach.
- Considering research social responsibility in contributing to the overcoming of real-world and pedagogical issues, to identify lines of action regarding the development of a context-based curriculum that ensures the quality of education.
